What Tier 1 Does Not Unlock
You cannot sell crypto or withdraw naira to a bank account at Tier 1. Your naira balance from gift card sales and P2P transfers is accessible, but bank withdrawal requires Tier 2 or higher.

Tier 2 — BVN Verification
Tier 2 verification requires your Bank Verification Number (BVN). From the verification page, select Tier 2, enter your 11-digit BVN, and a selfie modal opens within the FlipEx app. Take your selfie — FlipEx compares it against the BVN database instantly.
If the details match, Tier 2 is approved on the spot. No waiting, no manual review. Verification fails only if the BVN number is incorrect or the selfie does not match the government record — in which case you can retry immediately.
What Tier 2 Adds
- Crypto sales: Sell Bitcoin, USDT, Ethereum, Litecoin, TRX, and all other supported assets and receive naira to your wallet instantly.
- Naira bank withdrawals: Withdraw naira to any Nigerian bank account. Minimum withdrawal is ₦100. No withdrawal fees.
